Sean Perkins was born in Doncaster, UK in 1963. Having studied at Huddersfield and Leicester Polytechnics (First Class, BA Hons Degree) he then attended Royal College of Art, London (MA RCA) from 1985–1987. After working at Wolff Olins, Cartlidge Levene and Imagination London, Perkins set up his own studio North in 1995.

North design corporate identities. Past and current clients include UK government departments, cultural and financial organisations. Including RAC, First Direct, Land Registry, Barbican and The Royal Mint.
